SEALED UNITS WARRANTY (RESIDENTIAL SUPPLY AND INSTALL)

INSULATED GLASS:
1. Pioneer Window and Door Mfg. Ltd. WARRANTS that under normal conditions material obstruction of vision from film formation or dust collection between the interior glass surfaces of units provided by Pioneer Window and Door Mfg. Ltd. will not occur within 10 years of the date of its manufacture and save as aforesaid makes no other warranty express or implied.
2. This warranty will become void if the sealed unit is damaged resulting from abuse, including damage from improper cleaning, accident or act of God. The warranty is also voided if:
i. The unit is subjected to stress resulting from the localized application of heat or from excessive vibration or from movement of the building or its foundation.
ii. The unit is installed in high moisture environments, such as swimming pool enclosures or greenhouses.
iii. Insulated glass is subject to stress resulting from localized application of heat. This may be caused from sun shading devices being within 3 inches of the glass surface and/or from applied films.
3. Warranty is voided if insulated glass is at any time removed from its original glazing unless Pioneer Window and Door Mfg. Ltd. provide a written exception.
4. Labour warranty is 100% for ONE year from date of installation and after one year the customer will be responsible for associated on-site labour i.e. removal and re-installation.
5. VISUAL QUALITY STANDARDS: A glass is a construction material; the current visual quality standard is based on viewing at a 90º angle, under normal viewing conditions and at a minimum distance of twelve (12) feet. Defects must be within the normal viewing area, which is 80% of the center area of the glass.
